Jõulumäe Indoor Beach Arena offers a premier year-round sports facility, featuring a full-sized football field built to international standards and set atop a thousand tons of soft dune sand. Whether on a chilly summer evening or a snowless winter day, the arena provides an ideal climate for sports and movement in any weather.
Indoor Beach Arena is a year-round sports facility featuring a 32 × 40 m sand court (approx. 2000 m²) with four beach volleyball or beach tennis courts, up to two beach handball courts, or one beach soccer field, all set atop a thousand tons of soft dune sand, providing the perfect climate for sports in any weather, with spectator stands seating 250 people along a concrete-floored area that can also be used for training, warm-ups, and stretching.

Jõulumäe Indoor Beach Arena is a one-of-a-kind facility in the region, featuring a FIFA-compliant beach soccer field within a year-round sand hall. This modern venue provides an excellent setting for various beach sports, including beach soccer, volleyball, handball, tennis, wrestling, and other disciplines.
Completed in 2023, the sand hall enhances opportunities for competitions, training camps, and workshops, while also serving as a dynamic and active environment for recreational athletes and families.
The completion of the sand hall marks a significant milestone in Jõulumäe’s sustainable development plan. This achievement plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitiveness and international appeal of tourism and health sports across the entire Pärnu and Western Estonia region. By providing a high-quality facility for various beach sports and events, the sand hall contributes to the long-term growth and attractiveness of the area as a premier destination for athletes, recreational visitors, and sports tourism.
The project was supported by the Regional Development Fund of the European Union with 1,5 mln euros and the Ministry of Culture. The total cost of the project was 2,5 mln euros.
Beach arena was built from August 2022 to June 2023, the finishing and maintenance works will last until autumn 2023. The first users enjoyed the courts already in July.
