Luitejooks brought nearly a thousand movement enthusiasts to Jõulumäe

On 19 April, Pärnu Kahe Silla Klubi opened its three-event series with the Luitejooks run at Jõulumäe, marking the start of the spring movement season. This year, the event brought together 944 participants on the trails of Jõulumäe. The most popular distance was the 10 km run, completed by 283 participants. The children’s races welcomed 232 young movement enthusiasts, while 207 hikers took part in the 10 km recreational walk. Participants also challenged themselves on the 5 km and 21 km running distances, as well as in the canicross and dog hiking events. The route through Jõulumäe’s pine forest and dunes offered participants a true challenge. The varied terrain, climbs, descents and sandy sections made the run a memorable experience for both recreational participants and experienced athletes. In the men’s 10 km main distance, Franko Reinhold took the win with a time of 35:15. The fastest woman was Kaisa Kukk, finishing in 40:21. The 5 km distance was won by Enar Mustonen and Helen Janisoo, while Jaen Ots and Merili Tiik claimed victory in the 21 km run. Sunny spring weather, strong emotions and happy finishers made Luitejooks a lively start to the new movement season. A big thank you to all participants, organisers, volunteers and supporters! See you moving at Jõulumäe!
