It is one of J\u00f5ulum\u00e4e\u2019s oldest and most beloved sporting events. Come and celebrate this sporting tradition with us! It is a day when the entire pine forest comes alive with happy runners, enthusiastic supporters and the vibrant colours of autumn.<\/p>\n<p>The Forest Run is open to everyone who enjoys being active. In addition to the traditional <strong>9 km main race<\/strong>, the programme includes shorter <strong>children\u2019s races (500 m, 1,000 m and 2,000 m)<\/strong>. This year, <strong>jogging<\/strong> (slow run) has been added alongside the traditional <strong>recreational walk<\/strong>. Both activities cover a distance of 5.6 km, and no times are recorded \u2013 the aim is simply to enjoy being active for your own pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>The races are divided into 18 age categories. <strong>Pre-registration is open until 23:59 on 12 November 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A few friendly tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>To avoid unnecessary rushing on the day, we strongly recommend registering in advance.<\/li>\n<li>By registering early, you help us organise the event more efficiently \u2013 we know to expect you and can plan accordingly.
