Due to weather conditions, the 3rd stage of the J\u00f5ulum\u00e4e Cross-Country Ski Series, which had been cancelled earlier, was held at a later date and took place after the 4th stage of the series. Despite the adjusted schedule, the competition offered athletes good conditions and provided a valuable contribution both to the overall series and to the standings of the P\u00e4rnu Open City Championships.<\/p>\n
A total of 65 participants registered for the 3rd stage of the cup competition, of whom 60 successfully finished. In the youth categories, 35 competitors finished, while 25 athletes completed the race in the adult categories. The youth start was given at 17:30 and the adult start at 19:00. The air temperature at the time of the youth start was \u20138.1 \u00b0C and \u20138.3 \u00b0C at the time of the adult start.<\/p>\n
The competition took place on a 1.5 km artificial snow loop, with distances varying according to age categories. Good track conditions and true winter weather created excellent prerequisites for a sporty and fast-paced race day.<\/p>\n
