Enn Tasalain Indoor Beach Soccer Cup 2026 brought international top-level beach soccer to Jõulumäe

On 14–15 March, the Enn Tasalain Indoor Beach Soccer Cup 2026 took place in the beach arena of Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre, where strong teams from Estonia, Norway, Lithuania and Finland delivered exciting matches over two days.

The tournament was won by Spordiklubi Augur Enemat / Coolbet, who defeated Norwegian side KFUM Stavanger 3–2 in a closely contested final. Third place went to Lithuania’s BSC Kauno Žalgiris, who beat BSC Hobby 5–4 in the bronze match. In the 5th–6th place play-off, BSC Pärnu Tervis came out on top with a 4–3 win over Nõmme Beach Soccer Club.

Among the individual awards, Aamund Haaland (KFUM Stavanger) was named the tournament’s best player, Rauno Rahnik (SK Augur Enemat / Coolbet) was selected as the best goalkeeper, and Daniel Langhoff (BSC Hobby) finished as the top scorer with seven goals.

Kari-Andri Kask, member of the board of the Estonian Football Association and the tournament’s chief organiser, summed up the two days of beach soccer as follows: “This was a very high-level beach soccer tournament, featuring the champions of Norway, Lithuania and Finland, as well as the three strongest Estonian beach soccer teams. In the final, Estonia’s and the Baltic Sea region’s top team, SK Augur Enemat, only managed to score the winning goal against the Norwegians late in the final period to secure a 3–2 victory. Representatives of the foreign teams described the Jõulumäe beach arena as the best indoor beach soccer hall in the world that they had ever played in. I have to agree, because the beach arena, created through Enn Tasalain’s thorough approach together with the advice of specialists from the Estonian Football Association, is completely unique in our region. Without it, Estonia would not be able to compete with the world in beach sports.”

The two-day tournament offered spectators top-level beach soccer and a truly memorable sporting experience.

The beach soccer cup named after Enn Tasalain was held for the second year in a row in the sand hall of Jõulumäe Recreational Sports Centre and is becoming a traditional opening event of the beach sports season.
