Jõulumäe Cross-Country Ski Series – Stage 5

25 March 2026 marked the final, 5th stage of the Jõulumäe Cross-Country Ski Series, where athletes took on ski cross – a discipline that demands not only speed, but also agility, balance, and smart decision-making.

A total of 65 participants registered for the final stage of the cup series, of whom 60 successfully reached the finish. In the youth category, 35 athletes finished, while 25 competitors finished in the adult category. The youth start was given at 17:30, and the adult start at 19:00.

The competition took place on a 1.5 km loop covered with artificial snow, with race distances varying according to age groups. The air temperature was –8.1°C at the time of the youth start and –8.3°C at the adult start, providing athletes with good and stable racing conditions.

The 5th stage also served as the grand finale of the Jõulumäe Cross-Country Ski Series 2026, bringing the season to a close. Over the course of the series, ski enthusiasts enjoyed a varied programme of events – from classic and freestyle races to ski cross – offering challenges for both young athletes and adults.

A big thank you to all the athletes who took to the course throughout the season and contributed to the success of the series. We would also like to thank the organising team, course staff, and volunteers whose work ensured smooth arrangements at every stage. Special thanks also to all supporters and spectators who helped create a warm and encouraging competition atmosphere at Jõulumäe.
